As we all know, bursting crackers not only contributes to noise and air
pollution, but can also affect human health.
We need to remember that animals can hear far better than humans, especially dogs and cats; and Diwali can be a very distressing time for them, with all the loud sounds around them.
How about we opt for the noiseless ones instead like flower pots and bhoomi chakras and avoid bursting bijlis and loud bombs?
If not for the environment, let's atleast do it for the animals.
After all, Diwali is the festival of lights and not sounds :)
Enjoy yourselves, but more importantly be careful and stay safe!
Happy Diwali!
